Shuffling the deck, the magician asks a spectator to pick any card. The card is memorized and returned to the middle of the deck. The magician waves his hand over the deck and the chosen card magically rises out of the middle of the deck!
You can even pass the deck to the spectator and the card will rise, all by itself!

Please note that this is not an inferior invisible-thread trick, but the original authentic mechanical rising card.
