Thie Mirage deck is so simple, yet the effects which are possible are in league with top sleight-of-hand magic.
A normal deck of cards is shown to the spectator. You can even fan them out to show that all the cards are different. The spectator then selects a card and then returns it to the deck. Give it a shuffle and the card has magically risen to the top! Shuffle it again, and flip over the top card. It is theirs again!
Just like the ambitious card routine, except this requires no sleight of hand and is totally self working!
