On the spool you will find approx. 200 feet of thread. this thread is the largest diameter possible (for strenght) and still not able to see it. As you remove the thread please remember not to keep it under tension since most applications will require you to still have the tension built in. At room temperature the thread will stretch to 6 times its length, and is more than strong enough to move a new pencil along the table.
